Date added: March 2013 INX Digital attracts a crowd at Signs By Tomorrow

Interest in INX Digital International's Triangle brand of alternative inks remains sky high as evidenced by the reception these products received at the Signs By Tomorrow (SBT) annual convention, held Feb. 15-16 in Savannah, Georgia.

"The SBT convention was the best attended franchise show we have ever been involved with. We had people in our booth the entire time," said Susie Mendelssohn, International Marketing Manager for INX Digital International, who had support from the Triangle dealer network with representatives of Advantage Sign Supply, Denco, Fellers and Tubelite in attendance.

"Franchisees were sincerely interested in their options and extremely pleased to learn that our alternative inks, such as HPS for HP9000, HP10,000 and other printers, are chemically compatible with OEM inks. They were even happier to learn our inks print at the same level of quality at a much lower cost. I was also glad to learn there was a high level of interest in our large format and grand format inks."

As a leader in the one-day sign business, SBT produces highly professional business signs from cut vinyl and large format digital printing. INX Digital's HP9000 and 10,000 users experience bright, true and clean colors with no re-profiling required, regardless if converting from previous Triangle options or OEM. The HPS inks are known for being fast drying and providing a higher resolution with more accurate drop placement. In addition, they offer excellent adhesion to a much wider range of media with superb resistance to alcohol and common cleaning agents.

Mendelssohn noted franchisees were impressed with INX Digital's upcoming cartridge recycling program. As part of the company's commitment to global preservation and available in the U.S., INX Digital will take back empty wide format digital ink cartridges and provide free shipping. The main requirement is the printer must return a minimum of 20 cartridges. HPS inks are available in 1000ml cartridges.

Date added: January 2013 INX Digital makes a splash at FASTSIGNS convention

First out of the blocks on INX Digital International's tradeshow schedule this year was the annual FASTSIGNS convention, which took place January 16-19 in Dallas.

The four day session served as testimony that interest in INX Digital's Triangle brand of alternative inks remains high on their priority list and for the wide format market as a whole.

FASTSIGNS is the sign industry's leading franchise operation with 530 sign and graphic centers outlets worldwide, including 475 in the U.S. and Canada. They offer a robust product roster including banners, flags, vehicle graphics, labels and tradeshow exhibits and displays. Their signature sign work involves various building, digital and electric and yard signs, all of which require a choice selection of inks.

Franchisees showed tremendous interest in INX Digital's display of color and chemically compatible JVS inks. Many visitors were also impressed with the HPS inks for the HP9000/10000 printers and the JVV inks that are used on the Mimaki JV33 printer.

"The FASTSIGNS convention always holds much promise because they have an enthusiastic group that is located in every major market throughout the U.S. and Canada," remarked Chip Vielhauer, INX Digital International's North American Partner Sales Manager.

"The FASTSIGNS franchise network continues to acknowledge Triangle as a high quality ink that works extremely well for them. Triangle received high marks for its performance and the franchisees told us how they experienced cost savings without any quality issues. Some of our channel partners joined us, and we had many inquiries from people about the inks for the Mimaki printers who are ready to make the transition to Triangle inks."

Date added: November 2012 Breaking news ……New Roland® printers from Josero

Josero is now selling new Roland® printers with an added edge.

Not only will you get all the benefits of a new Roland® machine, you will get the option of additional cost savings by installing alternative eco solvent inks, saving you around 25% per square metre. Josero has a vast amount of experience of Roland® printers, having sold refurbished machines for a number of years and has many trained engineers throughout the UK who are very familiar with them.

Whether you choose to use the Roland® ink or an alternative ink, Josero will respect the warranty sold with the printer.

Once this warranty has expired, Josero won’t force you into any expensive service contracts, but instead you can have your printer serviced and maintained on a pay as you go basis, saving you even more money.

Loic Delor, Managing Director of Josero commented, “We’ve thought about this a lot and it makes complete business sense from our perspective, as we are so used to working with Roland® printers having serviced many of them in the past few years.

We also stock a range of spare parts at our head office in Cambridge, which makes the maintenance and servicing of a printer a whole lot simpler. Customers will also benefit from our professional and friendly service, experience of the market, plus save money, if they choose – a very appealing proposition we believe.”

Based on a full set consumption per month, cost savings would be £750+ per year for a 4 colour machine and £1,150+ for a 6 colour machine.

Also, bulk ink feed systems are available for larger ink users, resulting in even greater cost savings.

Date added: November 2012 INX Digital's Triangle Brand Inks a Huge Hit at SGIA

Hosting a booth full of qualified buyers was not only the goal but a reality for INX Digital International last week in Las Vegas. An overflow amount crowd interested in the company’s TRIANGLE brand of alternative inks, including green products for the wide format market, attended the annual Specialty Graphics Imaging Association’s Expo from October 18-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Without a doubt, we experienced our best response to a North American show in the last five years. We spoke with many new and familiar people from throughout the U.S. as well as Latin America,” claimed Ken Kisner, President of INX Digital International.

“The people who visited our booth had a purpose and plan in mind. I was anticipating plenty of interest for our TRIANGLE inks but was a bit surprised and delighted by the sheer volume of people that did. We also had quite a few discussions about our Prodigy™ brand and some new development projects. These types of results are why we continue our sponsorship of the SGIA Expo.”

INX Digital featured its TRIANGLE EDX and JVV inks. EDX cartridges were demonstrated on Roland VersaCAMM and Mutoh printers, and JVV was exhibited on a Mimaki JV33 printer in tandem with the Eco Bulk ink delivery system that uses 100 percent recycled material. That combination was well received by the crowd of visitors.

“Our EDX ink has done exceptionally well in the market the last two years and it continues to gain momentum based on what took place at SGIA,” Kisner said. “People want a green option and EDX is providing the results they require. It’s a great green alternative compared to the true solvent products that are available in the wide format market.”

EDX was the first TRIANGLE ink to offer a color and chemically compatible ECO product for the alternative market. Fast drying with low odor, new color profiles are not necessary in order to obtain compatible output to the OEM inks when printing. EDX also provides a significant cost savings compared to Roland Soljet series printers ECO inks. When matched against OEM wide format inks, EDX is typically 30-50 percent lower in cost.

The JVV series is a popular and fast drying true solvent-based inkjet ink. Boasting a UV light resistant pigment, they are chemically compatible with OEM inks and have excellent adhesion to many different substrates. The JVV series also offers a broad color gamut with bold reds and clean yellows. Like EDX, JVV is backed by INX Digital’s Worldwide Outdoor Durability and Ink Train warranty.

INX Digital also promoted its UV Curable inks on HP printers. However, interest was strong across-the-board for all of its UV and wide format products, in addition to the company’s superb print head cleaning operation and the impressive Prodigy brand.

“Prodigy dares you to be different and more people want to take the challenge and separate themselves from the competition,” remarked Kisner, who indicated the brand has recently been used successfully in the packaging market for test marketing, prototyping, serialization and mass customization.

In the graphic arts industry, Prodigy has life in the digital market with OEMs, Integrators and print head companies. The products typically are used for billboards, banners, vehicle and building wraps and other large format output purposes. On the industrial side, products include textile, wood grain, and plastic and metal packaging for the medical industry and others using a varied portfolio of chemistries including UV, water and solvent-based products. These products have excellent adhesion to a wide variety of flexible media.

The SGIA Expo concluded INX Digital’s schedule of tradeshows for 2012. Commitments for 2013 will be announced in December.

Josero has just signed a deal to become the exclusive UK distributor of Kala’s Image Gallery Wrap framing system.

This innovative tool-free canvas framing system stretches images onto a wooden frame and produces stunning gallery wraps in less than five minutes.  The system is very simple to use and includes wooden framing bars with adhesive strips, reusable corner clamps, staples, acid-free glue and easy-to-follow instructions.  Beyond these items, no other tools are required and it works perfectly with canvas and also with laminated paper.

Loic continued, ”It is the ideal system for printers and signmakers who want to expand their business and generate more profit without having to make huge investments in new technologies. The framing system complements many of the services these businesses currently offer and adds value to their printing services. ”
